Well I tried to do stuff last night on my videos.  But “Computer says no”.  So then I tried to re-install windows - there is not a lot on the machine that s not backed up, so I was happy to reformat and start again.  “Computer says no”, so then I took the back off the computer and poked around inside.  The fan for the power supply was dead, and everything inside the case was at about 80 deg.  One drive totally toast, the other simply not happy.  Probably time to buy a new computer.  Dang.  Anyway, appologies for anyone wanting monkeycam…it will have to wait until I have either resurrected something phoenix like from the ashes, or just bitten the bullet and bought a new one.
